On September 21, 2010 Dan Savage started an internet-based project due to the suicide of Billy Lucas, and a number of other teens who were bullied to death becuase of their sexuality, or because they were gay. Some of the teens we are remembering today are Raymond Chase, Tyler Clementi, Ryan Halligan, Asher Brown, and Seth Walsh, who all have died from being bullied to death, literally. The goal of It Gets Better project is to prevent the suicides of LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender)teens around the world. You upload videos on YouTube of you reassuring people that life is worth living and that it is going to get better.
