A man in Wisconsin was charged with attempted homicide, when he allegedly tried killing a fellow guest at a Thanksgiving feast when she ignored his claim to a chair.
Kendrick Carr, 23, pulled a 12 inch long butcher knife on the guest when she declined to moving from the seat that Carr had claimed. The woman used a broom as a defense mechanism and remained unharmed. When she refused to remove herself from the seat, Carr started throwing things around his girlfriend's apartment, where the dinner took place. He made way fro the kitchen where he grabbed the knife and returned to the woman where he attempted to slash her while Carr's girlfriend ran over to a neighbors house and dialed the police.
Carr also was charged with disorderly conduct, criminal damage to property, and first degree reckless endangerment charges, in addition to attempted homicide.
